HOW TO MAKE FALSE LASHES LAST!

Wearing false lashes is a great way to make your eyes pop and appear more beautiful. However, many people are not aware of how to take care of them so they will last. Although most pair of lashes are not overly priced, it could save you a great deal of money to learn tips that can help you reuse lashes. In most cases, just because you have worn them once, does not mean you have to throw them away. One of the first tips that you should know is what type of glue to apply to your false lashes. This can make the difference between the longevity of your lashes. For example, using a clear glue adhesive is much easier to remove then glue that is not  clear or that leaves a film. If you are not familiar with a what type of glue to use, DUO adhesive is a popular brand to start with. This particular type of glue can be purchased almost anywhere from Sephora to your neighborhood drugstore (SEE PHOTO FEATURED BELOW). Once you have determined an easy and clean type of glue to work with, then you can start the process of cleaning off the lashes after you have removed them from your eye. The next step is cleaning the lashes. This can be done in many ways. You can either use alcohol, using a cotton swab or you can use eye make-up remover. (Make-up remover may not work for everyone, simply because it can be messy if it contains too much oil, however you can try to soak the eyelashes in a small container using eye make-up remover). Be sure to gently pull off all of the glue and mascara as well. If you are still having difficulties, try using a pair of tweezers to remove the glue. While removing the glue and cleaning, use a paper towel to dry the eyelashes. Once they are dry, you can wear them once again - it's that easy! One thing to consider is that for cheaper brand lashes, they may lose their natural curl once you wash and dry them. But if you go up a notch in quality, you'll likely see the curl return just as new, even after the wash!
