TIPS ON HOW TO MAKE LIP COLOR LAST!

Every Gal wants long lasting lip color. Here are a few simple tips that will have your lips shining for hours!

#1.
CHOOSE A LIP COLOR
THAT IS NOT MATTE!
Matte means dull, dry and without shine. Be careful about picking out lip colors that say "long lasting." Many of these types of lipsticks will last a long time, however, they will dry your lips out completely. Most of these lip colors that promise to last a long time actually have two ends, one for color and the other is suppose to be applied for sheen. The idea would work great if you didn't have to apply the sheen over the color multiple times a day.

#2.
DON'T GO TOO CHEAP!
If you choose to go with wet and wild lip color, do not expect your lip color to last a very long time. It is true what they say, you always get what you pay for. If you go for something ultra cheap, then the chances of it working is a long shot. The probability of it working for longer then 30 seconds is a miracle. It is perfectly fine to go with drugstore brands such as Revlon, Cover Girl or L'Oreal. These brands offer affordable lip colors you can buy, without being too cheap. If you are trying to save money, always go to your nearest drugstore and see what is on sale. Drugstores such as Walgreens and CVS are notorious for having weekly sales on various great make-up brands. Always keep in mind that sometimes when you try to save money and the product just does not work, then you will be spending more in the long run.

#3.
REFRAIN FROM
 LICKING YOUR LIPS!
Regardless of how dry your lips feel, try to refrain from constantly licking them. Most people do this because their lips feel dry or just out of a nervous habit. When you lick your lips you are actually taking moisture off of your lips, which forces you to continue this bad habit. Also, if you have lipstick on, you are licking the lipstick right off of your lips. Try to use chap stick or a more moisturizing lipstick if you are having this problem.

#4.
USE A LIP LINER!
Do not go overboard but a little lip liner goes a long way. Always apply lip liner on prior to the lip color. Be sure to apply your lipstick correctly on the bottom and top. SEE VIDEO!

#5.
TRY POWDER!
After you have finished applying your lip color add a dab of powder on your lips. This type of powder is the same powder that you use on your skin after you apply your make-up. Apply generously, but like everything else, do not overdo! Also, use a tissue to remove anything excess around your lips.
