HOW TO USE YOUR OLD FOUNDATION! Tip of the decade....

If you haven't heard by now, foundation DOES get old. There are certain time limits that you should keep your foundation and then throw it out. For more information on when to get rid of your foundation and other make-up, please refer to the following article.

Most women have a very difficult time throwing away their make-up because they feel like there will be one day that they may want to use it. The truth is, if you have not used it in 6 months, you will probably not use it again. It will generally accumulate dust and the individual will just continue to purchase MORE make-up. However, for those ladies who are dreading throwing out their make-up, there is a great way to use your old make-up. For example, if you have a bite or mark on your body, instead of running to the store to buy make-up that is supposed to be specially made for your body, try using old make-up and powder to cover the area, especially if you want to wear a lovely outfit that shows off your legs or arms.  While this is generally not a great idea for the face, covering up certain marks with older make-up will not harm the skin. Also, never be afraid to use foundation that no longer matches your face to blend in with moisturizers for your legs. Sometimes it can give your legs a more bronzed look. Bottom Line: ALWAYS be sure to do your research BEFORE you are quick to throw out your old products, it could just end up saving you loads of money. Money that you will need to purchase more make-up of course...
