If you are having a hard time achieving your goals then do not worry - you are not alone! Many people have a difficult time making, setting and maintaining their goals. Below are 5 easy ways to set yourself up to achieve your goals!
5. MAKE REASONABLE GOALS
Before you find yourself overwhelmed, make sure that you set small goals before you try to conquer something big. Setting a major goal before you are able to complete the small task is setting yourself up for failure. For example, if you want to run a marathon, you should never make a goal to actually run the marathon at the beginning. Instead, make small goals, such as running a half mile and then increase to a mile. In time, you will find that by making smaller goals, it will help you to obtain your actual dreams!
4.SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE THAT SHARE SIMILAR GOALS
If you surround yourself with people who have similar goals then you are creating a support group to achieve your goals. Having a support group can come in handy when you are not feeling motivated. People who have similar goals can allow you to express your frustrations and often understand exactly the hardships that you may be experiencing. In fact, it does not even have to be a group of people. It can be one other person that holds you accountable for not giving up!
3. REMOVE NEGATIVE PEOPLE
Being around people who are constantly putting you down is a recipe for never achieving your dreams. Staying positive in this life is hard enough without having negative energy constantly surrounding you. If someone is being constantly negative, it is always better to either not hang out with them or stop listening to them. Not only is this a vital lesson for achieving goals, but it is also important in life as well. When it comes to negative people - just say no!
2. DON'T FEEL BAD
It is important to understand that when you are trying to achieve anything in this life, you WILL have set backs, but DON'T FEEL BAD. Setbacks are normal.
1. DON'T GIVE UP!
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up ( Galatians 6:9)."
