Why you dislike your postpartum body and how to embrace it.

If you have had a baby and you do not like your postpartum body then you are not alone. Most women struggle to accept their postpartum body.  But have you ever wondered "why."" "Why do we dislike our postpartum body?" Why is it so hard to accept the difference?" "Why do so many women opt to change it through surgery or other ways that are advertised ?" Below are some of the top reasons why you hate your postpartum body. 5.  Your clothes don't fit the same After you have a baby, oftentimes your clothes  will not fit. Whether you are 6 weeks postpartum or 10 years, your clothing may never fit exactly the same, regardless of how much weight you lose. As a result some women may start to feel like a stranger in their own body. They may not know what clothes will flatter them anymore or how to find new clothes that look great on them. This can lead women to dislike their body. 4. You feel judged by others It is no secret that we live in an era wher

Why your life may not be going your way!

This a question that many people often wonder. Sometimes regardless of how much effort and time you may put in to something, it never works. Whether it is that promtion that was just given to your co-worker, a business that has never picked up or a door that has continuously been closed, there are several answers to this question. These are just a few...

It is no secret that if you are driving down to your local drugstore and you take a left when the drugstore is clearly located on the right, that you will get lost AND not find out where you were suppose to be. As strange as this comparison may be, our decisions in life are exactly the same way. Sometimes our lives are not going where we planned because we are making a conscious decision to go the wrong way. Instead we chose to move into a direction where we should never have been. Take a moment and ask yourself if your pathway is not going forward because you are going backwards.
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death (Proverbs 14:12)."

One minute your business is going strong, the next second, it is like everything is going sour. For some of us, the problem is not the products we sell, but it is about the passion that we have lost behind doing what we started. The most successful people in this world, whether they will admit it or not, are driven by passion, not money. Passion is what keeps them going until 3:00am in the morning. When everyone is sleeping, a passionate person  will stay up and go the extra 200 miles. A passionate person is also not selfish. Everything they do, they do it out of a selfless act.
"Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love
(Revelation 2:4)."
Sometimes as soon as you begin claiming that you are the star of the show, everything goes down hill. Why? Because you have not only lost your passion, but you have forgotten the deep core of why you originally wanted to do what you are doing....PASSION!

“‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth

Have you ever sat down and let someone put a bandanna across your eyes and you could no longer see?  Usually, unless you grab on to someone else's hand then you are stumbling everywhere. Sometimes, our life is not going as planned because there is a greater source that is allowing things to happen to us so that our trust grows stronger and deeper. When you are blind, you are more likely to humble yourself and take the hand that is lended to you. Automatically, you have to trust the person who can see.
Believe it or not, sometimes this is where we are meant to be. Our plans we make for ourselves often get in the way of the true plans that are in store for us,  so we become blind.  And when this happens, we have no choice but to take the hand that is in front of us, and let them lead. This is the point where you have completely put your trust in another source and you begin to recognize that sometimes you have to close your eyes, take the hand that is given to you and let the person who can see direct you.
Is this a hard thing to do? Absolutely, but sometimes, there are no other options. If you have given life your all, it is time to stop stumbling in darkness and take the hand that is held out for you...
