HEALTHY EATING"Baked Mini Corn dogs"

HEALTHY EATING TIP OF THE WEEK:(RECIPE BELOW) Eating more baked foods and less fried can help you maintain a healthy weight and feel more energetic. Fried foods in general are extremely unhealthy because they increase your risk for many chronic diseases. These types of food contain substances such as acrylamide and advanced glycation that are extremely unhealthy. Many restaurants that serve fried food often use trans fat instead of vegetable oil, which  can become toxic chemicals. These trans fats are often used by restaurants because they are not as costly as vegetable oil. Indulging in fried foods that contain trans fats can increase your risk of cardiovascular disease which may include coronary heart disease and eventually a premature death. In addition, fried foods contain a lot of calories which can increase obesity. In order to remain healthy, it is better to bake your food and stay away from fried foods. If you are going to eat fried food, try to pat some of the oil down with a paper towel or a napkin. This can significantly help reduce your fat/oil intake. Below is a delicious recipe for mini corn dogs. Try to stick to baked foods and you will be amazed at how healthy AND tasty this new lifestyle can be.
