Health in the Cracks: How to Build Better Habits Without Burning Out

Health in the Cracks:  How to Build Better Habits Without Burning Out You’ve probably seen the glossy to-do lists, the bullet journals adorned with pastel  highlighters, the 5 a.m. wake-ups that come with a smug caption. But if your calendar looks  more like a losing game of Tetris, those ideals are more guilt-trip than guide. For anyone  juggling deadlines, childcare, emails at midnight, and maybe even a sliver of a social life,  health can feel like a luxury item—something reserved for people with spare time and  matching gym sets. Still, your habits are quietly writing your future, and yes, they can be  reshaped without requiring a life reboot. HEALTHY EATING "Mexican Chocolate Raspberry Parfaits"

Who can resist a desert that consists of chocolate and raspberries? Of course if you do not like raspberries, feel free to exchange it for the fruit of your choice, such as strawberries. This would make a great dessert or small snack throughout the day. The recipe is featured down below.

HEALTHY EATING TIP! One of the best ways to stay in shape is by recognizing that being healthy is about more than just going on a diet, it requires a lifestyle change. This means that a small diet here and there will probably not work long term. If an individual does not change how they perceive food or acknowledge that, their "new" healthy eating habits have to be something that continues throughout their lifetime, a person can easily slip back into bad habits. The primary reason why diets do not work is that once a person loses a few pounds, they often get excited and go right back to eating the way they used to. Also, many diets, such as liquid diets, actually deprive people of the necessary nutrients that they need. These diet plans fail because the body is likely to consume all of the nutrients it was deprived of, causing a person to almost immediately put back on all of the weight they lost, if not more! The biggest difference is that a diet is temporary, a lifestyle change is permanent.
