Health in the Cracks: How to Build Better Habits Without Burning Out

Health in the Cracks:  How to Build Better Habits Without Burning Out You’ve probably seen the glossy to-do lists, the bullet journals adorned with pastel  highlighters, the 5 a.m. wake-ups that come with a smug caption. But if your calendar looks  more like a losing game of Tetris, those ideals are more guilt-trip than guide. For anyone  juggling deadlines, childcare, emails at midnight, and maybe even a sliver of a social life,  health can feel like a luxury item—something reserved for people with spare time and  matching gym sets. Still, your habits are quietly writing your future, and yes, they can be  reshaped without requiring a life reboot. It’s about weaving wellness into your existing  routine, not bulldozing your schedule to fit it. Stack Small Wins Where They Already Belong You don’t need to find extra time; you need to sneak habits into the time you already use. That’s where habit stacking comes in. 5 Ways to look younger insantly

 5. Wax your eyebrows

It's no secret that having unkempt eyebrows or no eyebrows can make a person look kind of crazy. But did you know that eyebrows that are not arched correctly can make your face appear droopy? Creating an eyebrow that is arched correctly can give an individual an instant face lift by making the face look like it is pulled more upward. Thicker looking eyebrows are usually associated with youth, while thinning of the eyebrows is generally associated with aging or older people.

There are many different ways to do your eyebrows to get that desired face lift appearance. A person can either get them waxed, threaded or razored. Each way can be effective, so it just depends on which way feels most comfortable for you.

 4. Use concealer

Dark circles underneath your eyes, whether they are genetic or from lack of sleep, have a tendency to make an individual look older. Applying under eye concealer to brighten underneath the eye can take years off of a person's face.

                             How to apply concealer correctly!

There are many different types of concealers for all skin types. The key is to find the right one for your skin. When applying concealer it should always be a shade or two lighter than your natural skin color. Doing this trick will automatically brighten underneath the eyes.

 3. Wear bright clothing

As people age, their natural glow tends to fade. One way to bring back the illusion of a natural glow is to wear brighter clothing. Wearing brighter clothing, especially towards the face, reflects light on the face reducing the image of  wrinkles.  However, darker shades absorb light, thus making a person look older.

For those who love black because it gives the illusion of a slimmer figure, it is best to wear black towards the bottom and brighter color more towards the face. Instead of wearing dark towards the face,  try to experiment with reds, purples, pinks and yellow shades. It is also important to know that not everyone looks great in every shade. Try on different bright colors and see which best works for you.

 2. Ditch the dark lipstick and black eyeliner!

Dark lipstick and black eyeliner can make a person look older instantly. Heavy black eyeliner draws the eyes in, making them appear smaller. Smaller eyes are generally associated with being older, while wider eyes are associated with youth. This is because as we age our eyes start to look smaller. Our eyeballs themselves don't shrink as we grow older – they only appear so thanks to sagging skin around the eyes.

So if a person is attempting to take a few years off, then they should ditch the black eyeliner and opt for lighter eye shadows or brown eyeliner around the eye.

Eye make-up mistakes that make you look older!

Similarly to wearing dark eye make-up, wearing a very dark lip shade typically makes a person appear older. As we age our lips become thinner. As a result wearing black lipstick can exxagerate this flaw and make you look even older. Instead of super dark lip colors, try to opt for lighter shades.

 1. Smile

On average smiling takes about 3 years off of a persons face. When a person smiles, it automatically tightens the muscles around the face and neck. People who smile also develop less wrinkles as they age.
