DROWSY DRIVING PREVENTION WEEK!

NOVEMBER 12TH-18TH

The National sleep foundation has chosen to make November 12th-18th Drowsy Driving Prevention Week. Many people probably have never heard of this before, but they do know that feeling overly exhausted in driving can lead to serious injuries or death. The purpose of "Drowsy Driving Prevention Week," is to educate people about the dangers of driving while they are exhausted. This is an extreme problem everywhere and if each of us were honest with ourselves, we would probably say that we are guilty of driving in a sleepy state, simply because you want to get to your destination

KEY FACTS:

  • 16.5% OF AUTO ACCIDENT FATALITIES ARE DROWSY RELATED.
  •  YOUNG ADULTS 25 & UNDER, MAKE UP THE GREATEST  PERCENTAGE.
