WHY HEAT PROTECTANT IS IMPORTANT & WHICH ONE TO BUY!

If you are using excessive heat on your hair, then choosing a heat protectant is very important. You should never flat iron, blow dry or continuously add heat on your hair without first protecting it. Without the use of a heat protectant, your hair is likely to break off and grow brittle. A heat protectant is a substance that is applied on the hair PRIOR to putting heat on it, ie flat ironing. The protectant regulates the amount of heat that goes directly into your hair and can prevent breakage and dryness of the ends. Also, a protectant should add shine and help to prevent frizziness.
